Screen recorder for teachers
Updated 2 October 2026
A lesson recorded once can be watched at 2 a.m. the night before the test, paused, and rewatched. Reverie runs in the browser your school already uses, so there is nothing to install on a locked-down laptop.
What you might record
- A worked example, solved on screen while you talk it through
- Feedback on an essay or a project, pointing at the exact sentence
- A how-to for the tool your class is about to use
- A short welcome video for a new term or a new student
How Reverie helps
- No time limit. A forty-minute lecture records the same as a two-minute tip.
- Your face in the corner. Students follow a person better than a cursor. Move or reshape the camera after the take.
- Captions on Studio, so students can read along or search what you said.
- One link to post in your class page or chat. Make it private, or add a password.
A two-minute recipe
- Open your slides or the problem you want to solve, and open Reverie in Chrome or Edge.
- Pick the window, turn on your camera, press record, and teach.
- Trim the start and end, and send the link to your class.
