What is my screen resolution?
Updated 2 October 2026
Your screen's size as your browser reports it, its true pixel count, and the sharpest resolution worth recording at.

Which number matters for recording?
The big number above is your screen's true pixel size: the screen size multiplied by the pixel ratio. A recording can never be sharper than that, and recording above it only makes bigger files. Most text stays crisp at 1080p; 1440p helps on a large, high-resolution display.
